The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven: A True Story is a best-selling 2010 book by Kevin and Alex Malarkey in which Alex claimed to see a Christian version of heaven after he was involved in a traffic accident in 2004. The book, published by Tyndale House Publishers in 2010, was adapted into a TV movie in March 2010. Almost five years after the book was published, Malarkey admitted that his near-death experience was a fabrication, and Christian bookstores pulled the book from their shelves.
