Serial is a podcast exploring a nonfiction story over multiple episodes. First released in October 2014, it is a spinoff of the radio program This American Life. Episodes vary in length and are available weekly. It ranked number one on iTunes even before its debut and remained there for several weeks.
Ackquille Jean Pollard (born April 1, 1994), known by his stage name Bobby Shmurda, is an American rapper from Brooklyn, signed to Epic Records. He is best known for his song “Hot Nigga”, (released in July 2014) a song that debuted the “Shmoney dance,” which went viral after the release of the music video. The song has so far peaked at 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, with the song being remixed and performed by numerous other artists including Lil’ Kim, French Montana, Juicy J, and Gunplay.
The Voice is an American reality television singing competition broadcast on NBC. Based on the original The Voice of Holland, the concept of the series is to find new singing talent (solo or duets) contested by aspiring singers, age 15 or over, drawn from public auditions. The winner is determined by television viewers voting by telephone, Internet, SMS text, and iTunes Store purchases of the audio-recorded artists’ vocal performances. They receive US$100,000 and a “record deal” with Universal Music Group for winning the competition. There have been seven winners of the show to date: Javier Colon, Jermaine Paul, Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbery, Tessanne Chin, Josh Kaufman and Craig Wayne Boyd.
Anja Nissen (born 6 November 1995) is an Australian singer. She is the winner of the third series of The Voice. She is signed to the will.i.am Music Group. She lists her influences as Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion and Mariah Carey.

Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar.
