In folklore and parapsychology, a poltergeist (German for “noisy ghost”) is a type of ghost or other supernatural being supposedly responsible for physical disturbances such as loud noises and objects moved around or destroyed. Most accounts of poltergeists describe movement or levitation of objects, such as furniture and cutlery, or noises such as knocking on doors. Poltergeists have also been claimed to be capable of pinching, biting, hitting and tripping people.
Michael “Mike” Babcock, Jr. (born April 29, 1963) is a Canadian professional ice hockey head coach, currently with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). Babcock was born in Manitouwadge, Ontario, in 1963. As of May 2015, he is the only coach to gain entry to the Triple Gold Club, guiding his Red Wings to the Stanley Cup in 2008, as well as leading Team Canada to gold at the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships in 2004, the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Babcock is the only coach to win five national or international titles, guiding Canada to gold at the IIHF World Junior Championships in 1997 and the University of Lethbridge to the CIS University Cup in 1994.
Comic Relief is an operating British charity, founded in 1985 by the comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Lenny Henry in response to famine in Ethiopia. The highlight of Comic Relief’s appeal is Red Nose Day, a biennial telethon held in March, alternating with sister project Sport Relief. The Black Parade is the third studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance. On May 17, 2015, in Waco, Texas, a shootout erupted among as many as five rival outlaw motorcycle clubs, including the Bandidos, the Cossacks, and the Scimitars. The shootout occurred at the local Twin Peaks restaurant and left nine people dead, with 18 others injured. It was the most high-profile criminal event to occur in the Waco area since the death of David Koresh and his followers in the Waco siege of the Branch Davidian compound in 1993.
