Baltimore riots can refer to several incidents of civil unrest in Baltimore, Maryland’s history. It generally refers to the Baltimore Riot of 1861 (also known as the Pratt Street Riot), where a mob of Confederate sympathizers attacked Union troops transiting through the town in some of the first bloodshed of the American Civil War. Tim Richmond (June 7, 1955 â August 13, 1989) was an American race car driver from Ashland, Ohio. He competed in IndyCar racing before transferring to NASCAR’s Winston Cup Series (now Sprint Cup Series). Richmond was one of the first drivers to change from open wheel racing to NASCAR stock cars full-time, which has since become an industry trend. He won the 1980 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year award and had 13 victories during eight NASCAR seasons.
Dan Fredinburg (September 8, 1981 â April 25, 2015) was a Google executive who died on 25 April 2015 of head injuries in an avalanche at Mount Everest’s South Base Camp triggered by the 2015 Nepal earthquake. Fredinburg was a product manager and head of privacy at Google X, and an advisor on Project Loon. He had also worked on YouTube and Google Maps. According to the Sunday, April 26, 2015 print edition of the Peoria Journal Star, he was involved in an effort to map other geological areas and formations on Earth, to accompany Google Earth’s street-level view of cities and towns and other populated areas, at a similar level of detail (among many others, the Great Barrier Reef, the floors of the oceans, and high and/or remote mountains and mountain ranges- including in the Himalayas, where he was killed).

Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old African-American man who died of a spinal injury on April 19, 2015. A week prior, Gray had been taken into custody by police in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Within an hour of being taken into custody, Gray was being sent to hospital by police, where he fell into a coma. The incident has lead to protests in Baltimore.

The Statue of Liberty (Liberty Enlightening the World; French: La Liberté éclairant le monde) is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City, in the United States. The statue, designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, a French sculptor and dedicated on October 28, 1886, was a gift to the United States from the people of France. The statue is of a robed female figure representing Libertas, the Roman goddess, who bears a torch and a tabula ansata (a tablet evoking the law) upon which is inscribed the date of the American Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776. A broken chain lies at her feet. The statue is an icon of freedom and of the United States: a welcoming signal to immigrants arriving from abroad.
Harry Mason was a professional American football player during the early 1900s. He played for the Syracuse Athletic Club during the round-robin tournament later called the 1902 World Series of Football, held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Prior to playing for Syracuse, Mason played professionally for the Watertown Red & Black. He was reportedly recruited to join Syracuse before the 1902 series by Colgate University football coach, Frank “Buck” O’Neill. Mason scored a touchdown in each of the series two games, as Syracuse defeated the Knickerbocker Athletic Club, and the Orange Athletic Club, to claim the 1902 series title.
