House and the Giant of NetherlandsThe Netherlands (i/ˈnɛðərləndz/; Dutch: Nederland [ˈneːdərˌlɑnt] ( listen)) is the main constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, consisting of twelve provinces in western Europe and three islands in the Caribbean. The European part of the Netherlands borders the North Sea to the north and west, Belgium to the south, and Germany to the east; and shares maritime borders with Belgium, the United Kingdom and Germany. The Netherlands was one of the first countries in the world to have an elected parliament, and is governed as a parliamentary democracy organised as a unitary state. The capital city of the Netherlands, mandated by the constitution, is Amsterdam; however, the seat of government is located in The Hague.

World Cup Hockey: Australia vs SpainThe knockout stage of the 2010 FIFA World Cup was the second and final stage of the World Cup, following the group stage. It began on 26 June with the round of 16 matches, and ended on 11 July with the final match of the tournament held at Soccer City, Johannesburg, in which Spain beat the Netherlands 1–0 after extra time to claim their first World Cup. The top two teams from each group (16 in total) advanced to the knockout stage to compete in a single-elimination style tournament. A third place match is included and played between the two losing teams of the semi-finals.

Russia vs Korea Republic

Orchestra of the Air Force of the Republic of KoreaPlay in Group G of the 2006 FIFA World Cup completed on 23 June 2006. Switzerland won the group, and advanced to the second round, along with France. South Korea and Togo failed to advance. Switzerland were the only team to not let in any goals during the group stage of the tournament and would become the first team to be knocked out of a World Cup without conceding, losing on penalties after a 0–0 draw with Ukraine in Round 2.
