Miss USA 2010Miss USA 2014, will be the 63rd Miss USA pageant, It will be held at the Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 8, 2014. Erin Brady of Connecticut will crown her successor at the end of the event. All fifty states and the District of Columbia will be competing and it will be televised on NBC. The winner will represent the USA at Miss Universe 2014.

Shackleford Enters the Gate for The Belmont StakesThe Belmont Stakes is an American grade I stakes Thoroughbred horse race held every June at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. It is a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) horse race, open to three-year-old Thoroughbreds. Colts and geldings carry a weight of 126 pounds (57 kg); fillies carry 121 pounds (55 kg). The race, nicknamed The Test of the Champion, is the third and final leg of the Triple Crown and is held five weeks after the Kentucky Derby and three weeks after the Preakness Stakes, on a Saturday between June 5 and June 11. The 1973 Belmont Stakes and Triple Crown winner Secretariat holds the mile and a half stakes record (which is also a track and world record on dirt) of 2:24.

As an amateur, Cotto represented Puerto Rico in the lightweight and light welterweight divisions at various international events including the 1999 Pan American Games, the 2000 Summer Olympics and the 1998 Junior World Championships where he won a silver medal. Cotto began his professional career in 2001, and on September 11, 2004, he defeated Kelson Pinto for the WBO junior welterweight championship. He defended the title successfully a total of six times, before vacating it when he ascended to the welterweight division.

Halep reached the 2014 French Open final, her first Grand Slam final, where she played Maria Sharapova. She lost this final in three sets.
