Agnes Bernice Martin (March 22, 1912 â December 16, 2004) was a Canadian-American abstract painter, often referred to as a minimalist; Martin considered herself an abstract expressionist. She was awarded a National Medal of Arts from the National Endowment for the Arts in 1998.
Coastal Carolina University (Coastal or CCU) is a public, state-supported, liberal arts university in Conway, South Carolina, USA, located eight miles (13 km) west of Myrtle Beach. Founded in 1954, Coastal became an independent university in 1993. The University enrolls approximately 9,300 students on its 630-acre (2.5 km2) campus. Baccalaureate programs are offered in 65 major fields of study, along with graduate programs in education, business administration (MBA), accountancy, coastal marine and wetland studies, and writing. Matthew Rutledge Schaub (born June 25, 1981) is an American football Back Up quarterback for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Virginia, and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He was also a member of Houston Texans and currently holds every passing record in the franchise’s history.
Muppets Most Wanted is a 2014 American caper musical comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures. Directed by James Bobin and written by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller, the filmâthe eighth theatrical film featuring the Muppetsâis a sequel to 2011’s The Muppets and stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey. In Muppets Most Wanted, the Muppets find themselves unwillingly involved in an international crime caper while on tour in Europe.
God’s Not Dead is the fifteenth studio album by the Christian band Newsboys. It was released on November 15, 2011 and is the second full-length album with lead singer Michael Tait. The album featured songs by Jared Anderson, Daniel Bashta, Jason Ingram, Reuben Morgan, Jennie Lee Riddle, Jonathan Lee, Sarah Hart, Ben Cantelon, Ben Glover, Norm Miller, as well as multiple compositions and arrangements by Seth Mosley of Me in Motion. As of June 2013, the album has sold 276,000 copies in the United States.
Stephen Fuller Austin (November 3, 1793 â December 27, 1836) was an American empresario born in Virginia and raised in southeastern Missouri. Known as the Father of Texas, he led the second, and ultimately successful, colonization of the region by bringing 300 families from the United States. The capital of Texas, Austin in Travis County, Austin County, Austin Bayou, Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Austin College in Sherman, and a number of K-12 schools are named in his honor.
Anita Denise Baker (born January 26, 1958) is an American singer-songwriter. Starting her career in the late-1970s with the funk band Chapter 8, Baker eventually released her first solo album, The Songstress, in 1983. In 1986, she rose to stardom following the release of her platinum-selling second album, Rapture, which included the Grammy-winning single “Sweet Love”. To date, Baker has won eight Grammy Awards and has five platinum albums and one gold album to her credit. Baker has an alto vocal style.

Selena Quintanilla-Pérez (April 16, 1971 â March 31, 1995), known simply as Selena, was an American singer-songwriter. She was named the “top Latin artist of the ’90s” and “Best selling Latin artist of the decade” by Billboard for her fourteen top-ten singles in the Top Latin Songs chart, including seven number-one hits. Selena had the most successful singles of 1994 and 1995, “Amor Prohibido” and “No Me Queda Más”. She was called “The Queen of Tejano music” and the Mexican equivalent of Madonna. Selena released her first album, Selena y Los Dinos, at the age of twelve. She won Female Vocalist of the Year at the 1987 Tejano Music Awards and landed a recording contract with EMI a few years later. Her fame grew throughout the early 1990s, especially in Spanish-speaking countries, and she had begun recording in English as well.
