Lena Dunham (pron.: /ËlinÉ ËdÊnÉm/ LEE-nÉ DUN-um; born May 13, 1986) is a Golden Globe -winning American filmmaker and actress. She wrote and directed the independent film Tiny Furniture (2010), and is the creator and star of the HBO series Girls. In 2012, she was nominated for four Emmy Awards for Girls and won two Golden Globes.
