Cheyenne Nicole Woods (born July 25, 1990) is an American professional golfer.
The BMW i8, first introduced as the BMW Concept Vision Efficient Dynamics, is a plug-in hybrid under development by BMW. The initial turbodiesel concept car was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, and the BMW i8 gasoline-powered concept car destined for production was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2015 BMW i8 has a 7.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack estimated to deliver an all-electric range of 35 km (22 mi). The production version has an average fuel efficiency of less than 2.5 L/100 km (113.0 mpg-imp; 94.1 mpg-US) under the New European Driving Cycle with carbon emissions of less than 59 g/km.
Mark Lee McMorris (born 9 December 1993) is a Canadian snowboarder who specializes in the slopestyle and big air events. He was the first ever to complete a backside triple cork 1440 and won back-to-back gold medals in the 2012 and 2013 Winter X Games in the slopestyle event. He competed in the slopestyle event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, where he won a bronze medal, Canada’s first medal in the Games.
Meryl Davis (born January 1, 1987) is an American ice dancer. With partner Charlie White, she is a two-time (2011, 2013) World champion, the 2010 Olympic silver medalist, two-time (2010, 2012) World silver medalist, five-time Grand Prix Final champion (2009â2013), three-time Four Continents champion (2009, 2011, 2013) and six-time U.S. national champion (2009â2014). She was named to the 2014 U.S. Olympic Figure Skating Team.
Iceland is scheduled to compete at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia from 7â23 February 2014. The Icelandic team will consist of five athletes in two sports, and was officially announced on January 23, 2014. The team will also consist of eleven officials. For the first time since 1994, Iceland will be represented in a sport other than alpine skiing.
Samuel Bode Miller (/ËboÊdiË/; born October 12, 1977) is a World Cup alpine ski racer with the U.S. Ski Team. He is an Olympic and World Championship gold medalist, a two-time overall World Cup champion in 2005 and 2008, and can therefore be considered the most successful male American alpine ski racer of all time (with only Lindsey Vonn surpassing him). Miller is also considered one of the greatest World Cup racers of all time with 33 victories, and is one of five men in history to win World Cup events in all five disciplines.
Sage Kotsenburg (born July 27, 1993) is an American snowboarder. He won the first ever gold medal in Snowboard Slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, and became the first gold medalist at these Olympics. He won a silver medal in Snowboard Slopestyle at the 2012 Winter X Games XVI in Aspen, Colorado, behind Mark McMorris. He won a bronze medal in Snowboard Big Air at the 2011 Winter X Games XV in Aspen, Colorado, behind Torstein Horgmo and Sebastien Toutant.
