After Earth (originally known as 1000 A.E.) is an upcoming American science-fiction thriller film starring real-life father and son Will and Jaden Smith as Cypher and Kitai Raige, with Will also acting as producer and co-writer. It is co-written, produced and directed by M. Night Shyamalan and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures and available on IMAX.
