Animal Crossing: New Leaf (ã¨ã³ã ã ã©ãã¶ã¤ã®æ£®, Tobidase DÅbutsu no Mori?, “Animal Forest: Jump Out”) is a video game for the Nintendo 3DS console that was released on November 8, 2012 in Japan and was released in North America on June 9, 2013. It will be released in Europe on June 14, 2013, and in Australia on June 15, 2013. It is the latest game in the Animal Crossing series, where the player character lives in a rural village populated with anthropomorphic animals. First announced at E3 2010, it has been confirmed that the player will be the mayor of the animal village.
