Robert P. “Bobby” Petrino (born March 10, 1961) is an American football coach, currently the head coach at Western Kentucky University. He was the head coach at the University of Arkansas from 2008 to 2011, until his dismissal in the spring of 2012 for having an “inappropriate relationship” with a female employee. He also coached the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL for part of the 2007 season, and was the head coach at the University of Louisville from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, he spent 20 years as an assistant coach in the collegiate and professional ranks.
