Carly Fiorina (born Cara Carleton Sneed; September 6, 1954) is a retired American business executive and is actively running for the Republican Party’s nomination for President of the United States. Fiorina had been an executive at AT&T and its equipment and technology spinoff, Lucent before being chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2005 when she was forced to resign.
