Hyon Song-wol (ChosÅn’gÅl: íì¡ì; Hancha: çæ¾æ) (died August 20, 2013) was a North-Korean pop singer who was formerly the vocalist for the Pochonbo Electronic Ensemble, a pop group which became well known in North Korea in the early 2000s. Her better-known songs include the numbers “Footsteps of Soldiers”, “I Love Pyongyang”, “She is a Discharged Soldier” and “We are Troops of the Party”.
