Jane the Virgin is an upcoming American serial comedy-drama television series expected to air on The CW during the 2014â2015 season. The series was officially picked up on May 8, 2014. It is a loose adaptation of the Venezuelan telenovela Juana la Virgen created by Perla FarÃas. The series will air Monday nights in the 9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm Central timeslot.
