Joel Hans Embiid (joh-EL EM-beed; born March 16, 1994) is a Cameroonian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted third overall in the 2014 NBA draft. He played college basketball at the University of Kansas.
