Jordan Spieth (born July 27, 1993) is an American professional golfer, and the only golfer other than Tiger Woods to have won the U.S. Junior Amateur multiple times. Before turning 18 in July 2011, Spieth was number one in the Polo Golf Rankings, which determines the best junior golfers in the United States. Spieth, the 2009 and 2011 U.S. Junior Amateur champion, finished second in the 2008 and 2009 Junior PGA Championship. As a result of his efforts that year, the American Junior Golf Association named him the Rolex Junior Player of the Year in 2009.
