Lane Monte Kiffin (born May 9, 1975) is an American football coach, who was most recently the head coach of the University of Southern California Trojans college football team. He previously served as offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans from 2005â2006, head coach of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders from 2007 to 2008, and head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers in 2009. Kiffin was the youngest head coach in NFL history when he joined the Raiders, and for a time was the youngest head coach of a BCS Conference team in college football. He is the son of longtime NFL defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin, who is the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL.
