Martin Kaymer (/kaɪmÉr/; born 28 December 1984) is a German professional golfer. He became the No. 1 ranked golfer in the Official World Golf Ranking on 27 February 2011 after his runner-up finish in the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, but lost the top spot to Lee Westwood eight weeks later.
