Maxwell M. “Max” Scherzer (born July 27, 1984) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. Scherzer has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Detroit Tigers. In 2013, he won the American League Cy Young Award.
