Million Muslim March

The Million Muslim March will be a march in Washington, D.C., on September 11, 2013. It is being organized by the American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC), a small group from Kansas City, Missouri. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the main Muslim civil rights group in the United States, has condemned the march. Dr Zuhdi Jasar of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD) called the plan provocative, and criticized the group’s Truther ideology. Less than a month before the march, the event’s Facebook page had 57 members. AMPAC have attempted to invite Louis Farrakhan, organizer of the African-American Million Man March, and Republican politician Ron Paul. The group aim to hold the event each September 11.
