Philip Joseph “Phil” Hughes (born June 24, 1986) is an American right-handed professional baseball pitcher for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played in MLB for the New York Yankees from 2007 through 2013. He stands 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) tall and weighs 240 pounds (110 kg). He was the Yankees’ first-round pick in the 2004 MLB Draft.
