Prince George’s County is a county located in the U.S. state of Maryland, immediately north, east, and south of Washington, D.C. According to a 2011 estimate by the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a population of 871,233, and is home to Joint Base Andrews and is a part of the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, with its county seat being Upper Marlboro.
