Prince Henry of Wales (Henry Charles Albert David, born 15 September 1984), commonly known as Prince Harry, is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and his first wife, Diana, Princess of Wales. His paternal grandparents are Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He stands fourth in the line of succession to the thrones of sixteen independent sovereign states known as the Commonwealth realms. He is preceded in line by his father, his elder brother, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and his unnamed nephew.
