Orlando “Tubby” Smith (born (1951-06-30)June 30, 1951) is an American college basketball coach. Most recently, he was the men’s basketball head coach at the University of Minnesota from 2007-2013. Smith previously served in the same role at the University of Tulsa, the University of Georgia, and University of Kentucky, where he coached the Wildcats to the 1998 NCAA championship.
