Univision Deportes Network is a Spanish language American sports channel dedicated almost entirely to soccer events and soccer-related programming. Owned by Univision Communications, it serves the Hispanic and Latino community in the United States. Among others, the channel features soccer games from the Mexican Primera División and Ligue 1. Univision Deportes Network began broadcasting on April 7, 2012 and on DirecTV on March 17, 2013, along with Univision tlNovelas and FOROtv. As of October 29, 2013, Univision Deportes Network’s programming reaches 35 million households.
