2014 Corvette

CorvetteThe Chevrolet Corvette is a sports car by the Chevrolet division of General Motors (GM) that has been produced in six generations. The first model, a convertible, was designed by Harley Earl and introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953 as a concept show car. Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the type of small, maneuverable warship called a corvette. Originally built in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri, the Corvette is currently manufactured in Bowling Green, Kentucky and is the official sports car of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The National Corvette Museum documents the car’s worldwide history, hosts exhibits, tours and the annual anniversary celebration.

Golden Globes 2013

Golden globesThe 70th Golden Globe Awards honoring the best in film and television of 2012, will be broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on January 13, 2013, by NBC. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will co-host. Nominations were announced on December 13 by Jessica Alba, Megan Fox and Ed Helms. The Cecil B. DeMille Award, honoring the lifetime achievements of actors and filmmakers, was announced on November 1, 2012 with Jodie Foster being the latest recipient of that trophy. The ceremony will be produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

He is currently the head coach for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. Harbaugh agreed to a five-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers on January 7, 2011. Previously, he was the head coach at Stanford University for four seasons and the University of San Diego for three seasons. Harbaugh is also a former NFL quarterback who played for the Chicago Bears, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, and San Diego Chargers. He was selected by the Bears with the 26th pick in the first round of the 1987 NFL Draft. He played college football at Michigan. Harbaugh and his older brother, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh, are the first pair of brothers to serve as head coaches in NFL history.

Kaepernick

Colin Rand Kaepernick (born November 3, 1987) is an American football quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He played college football for the University of Nevada Wolf Pack. At Nevada, Kaepernick led his team to two bowl game championships. Kaepernick was MVP of the 2008 Humanitarian Bowl and led Nevada to the Fight Hunger Bowl championship in his senior season of 2010. In the 2011 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Kaepernick in the 2nd round as the 36th overall pick.
