Blue Is the Warmest Colour (French: La Vie d’Adèle â “The Life of Adèle”) is a 2013 French drama film written, produced and directed by Abdellatif Kechiche. It won the Palme d’Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. The film is based on the French graphic novel Le Bleu est une couleur chaude (“blue is a warm colour”), by Julie Maroh.
