Charles Matthew “Charlie” Hunnam (born 10 April 1980) is a British actor and screenwriter. He is perhaps best known for his roles as Nathan Maloney in the Channel 4 drama Queer as Folk, Lloyd Haythe in the Fox comedy series Undeclared, Pete Dunham in the film Green Street Hooligans, Jackson “Jax” Teller in the FX series Sons of Anarchy, and Raleigh Becket in the film Pacific Rim. On September 2nd, 2013, 50 Shades of Grey author E. L. James announced via Twitter that Hunnam will play the lead role of Christian Grey in the upcoming film adaptation of the series.
