Eugenie Bouchard

Eugenie BouchardEugenie “Genie” Bouchard (born February 25, 1994) is a Canadian professional tennis player. On January 6, 2014, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of no. 31. In 2012, Bouchard became the first Canadian to win a Grand Slam in singles after her win at Wimbledon as a junior. She achieved a career-high junior rank of no. 2 following her title. At the end of the 2013 season, she was named the WTA Newcomer of the Year, the second Canadian to receive that honor. Bouchard is currently Canada’s highest-ranked women’s singles player.
