Foxcatcher is an upcoming American biographical drama film, directed by Bennett Miller, starring Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, and Mark Ruffalo. The screenplay was written by E. Max Frye and Dan Futterman, based on Olympic wrestling gold medalist Mark Schultz’s autobiography. It has been selected to compete for the Palme d’Or in the main competition section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.
