Frank Lautenberg

Frank SinatraFrank Raleigh Lautenberg (/ˈlɔːtənbɜrɡ/; January 23, 1924 – June 3, 2013) was a United States Senator from New Jersey and a member of the Democratic Party. He first served in the United States Senate from 1982 to 2001; after a brief retirement, he was re-elected to the Senate and served from 2003 until his death in June 2013. Lautenberg was the last serving veteran of World War II in the United States Senate. Before entering politics, he was the chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Automatic Data Processing, Inc.
