IGN (which formerly stood for Imagine Games Network) is an American entertainment website that focuses on video games, films, music and other media. IGN’s main website comprises several specialty sites or “channels”, each occupying a subdomain and covering a specific area of entertainment; including major video game platforms (such as the PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Portable and Vita, smartphones and tablets, and retro games), and other forms of entertainment such as television, comic books, and films. IGN also runs a professional e-sports circuit known as the IGN Pro League.
