Kyrie Andrew Irving (born March 23, 1992) is an Australian-American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended Duke University before being selected as the 1st overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft by the Cavaliers. Irving was born in Melbourne, Australia and grew up in West Orange, New Jersey. Irving is known for his ball-handling skills and has achieved a number of accolades.
