Lawrence Lamond Phillips (born May 12, 1975) is a former professional American football and Canadian football running back. After his career in football, in December 2009, Lawrence Phillips was sentenced to a total of 31 years in a California prison for attacking his former girlfriend and for assault when driving his car into three teenagers in 2005.
