Manny RamirezManuel Arístides “Manny” Ramírez Onelcida (born May 30, 1972) is a Dominican-American professional baseball outfielder and designated hitter. He is currently with the Texas Rangers organization. Previously he played in Major League Baseball with the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, and Tampa Bay Rays. Ramirez is recognized for great batting skill and power, a nine-time Silver Slugger and one of 25 players to hit 500 career home runs. His 21 grand slams are third all-time, 29 post-season home runs the most in big league history. He appeared in 12 All-Star Games, a streak of eleven consecutive beginning in 1998 including every season that he played with the Boston Red Sox.
