The 87th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), is scheduled to take place on February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The Academy gave Academy Honorary Awards to Jean-Claude Carrière, Hayao Miyazaki and Maureen OâHara and a Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to Harry Belafonte in November 2014.
