Anna Vasil’yevna Chapman (Russian: ÐÌÐ½Ð½Ð° ÐÐ°ÑÐ¸ÌÐ»ÑÐµÐ²Ð½Ð° Ð§Ð°ÌÐ¿Ð¼Ð°Ð½; born Anna Vasilâyevna Kushchyenko Russian: ÐÌÐ½Ð½Ð° ÐÐ°ÑÐ¸ÌÐ»ÑÐµÐ²Ð½Ð° ÐÑÑÐµÐ½ÐºÐ¾; 23 February 1982) is a Russian national who was residing in New York City when she was arrested, along with nine others, on 27 June 2010 on suspicion of working for the Illegals Program spy ring under the Russian Federation’s external intelligence agency, the SVR (Sluzhba Vneshney Razvedki). Chapman pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to act as an agent of a foreign government without notifying the U.S. Attorney General, and was deported back to Russia on 8 July 2010, as part of a prisoner swap.

Manuel ArÃstides “Manny” RamÃrez Onelcida (born May 30, 1972) is a Dominican-American professional baseball outfielder and designated hitter. He is currently with the Texas Rangers organization. Previously he played in Major League Baseball with the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, and Tampa Bay Rays. Ramirez is recognized for great batting skill and power, a nine-time Silver Slugger and one of 25 players to hit 500 career home runs. His 21 grand slams are third all-time, 29 post-season home runs the most in big league history. He appeared in 12 All-Star Games, a streak of eleven consecutive beginning in 1998 including every season that he played with the Boston Red Sox.

The Declaration of Independence is a statement adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, which announced that the 13 American colonies, then at war with Great Britain, regarded themselves as independent states, and no longer a part of the British Empire. Instead they formed a union that would become a new nationâthe United States of America. John Adams was a leader in pushing for independence, which was unanimously approved on July 2. A committee had already drafted the formal declaration, to be ready when congress voted on independence.
