Samantha Steele (born December 11, 1985) is an American sportscaster from Phoenix, Arizona who is currently a reporter/host for ESPN college football and basketball sideline reporter. In summer 2012, it was announced that in addition to her Longhorn Network duties, Steele will be the regular sideline reporter for ESPN’s Thursday Night Football with Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer, and David Pollack beginning in August 2012. She will replace Jenn Brown on the sidelines. Steele has been tabbed as the replacement for Erin Andrews as co-host of ESPNUâs 9 a.m. College Gameday on Saturdays this fall, In addition, Steele will be featured on Gameday on ESPN at 10 am in the same capacity Andrews was.
