The 2012 SEC Championship Game will be played on December 1, 2012, in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia, and determine the 2012 football champion of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The game will feature the Georgia Bulldogs, winners of the SEC Eastern Division vs the Alabama Crimson Tide, the winner of the SEC Western Division. It is generally believed that the winner of this game will go on to face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the 2013 BCS National Championship Game.
