Steven Anthony “Steve” Ballmer (born March 24, 1956) is an American businessman who currently serves as the CEO of Microsoft, having held that post since January 2000. As of 2013[update], his personal wealth is estimated at $15.2 billion, ranking number 19 on the Forbes 400. It was announced on August 23, 2013 that he will step down as Microsoft CEO within 12 months.
