The 2014 Sugar Bowl is a college football bowl game to be played on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 80th annual Sugar Bowl, it will feature the #11-ranked Oklahoma Sooners of the Big 12 Conference and the #3-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide of the Southeastern Conference. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN at 8:30 PM EST. It is one of the 2013â14 bowl games that will conclude the 2013 FBS football season. It is sponsored by the Allstate insurance company and is officially known as the Allstate Sugar Bowl.
