Amar’e Carsares Stoudemire (/əˈmɑreɪ ˈstɒdəmaɪər/; born November 16, 1982) is an American professional basketball player who most recently played for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) before his contract was bought out in February 2015.
