Group D of the 2014 FIFA World Cup consists of Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, and Italy. This is the only group to contain more than one previous winner of the World Cup; as there are three previous winners, so at least one will be eliminated during the group stage. Play begins on 14 June and ends on 24 June 2014.
